Therapy is a collaborative process; we work together to think about how you think. My style is conversational, with an emphasis on talking about feelings, thoughts, and patterns that keep you stuck in place. I specialize in the LGBTQ community, working with individuals and couples who are looking to improve their relationships. I am also experinced in addressing substance use disorders within the LGBTQ community and other communities. I am an observant Jew and a gay man; I live in Manhattan with my husband and 2 dogs, Jacob and Golda.
Before working in private practice, I was the assistant clinical director of an outpatient mental health clinic in the West Village, where I saw patients and supervised several clinicians. I currently offer in-person and telehealth sessions. My office is wheelchair accessible.
I have a limited number of Medicare sessions available.
My training includes work with addictions and compulsions, individual and couples therapy (LGBTQ/open/monogamous) and clinical supervision. I am currently a candidate at psychoanalytic institute.

My office is convenient to Herald Square and Penn Station, and my telehealth sessions are HIPPA complaint to ensure confidentiality.
